Its graceful lines and vibrant hues beautifully showcase the elegance of Korean culture.

4. Traditional Holidays

Lunar New Year (Seollal): One of Korea's most significant traditional holidays, Seollal falls on the first day of the lunar calendar. It marks a fresh start and a prosperous year ahead. Families gather to prepare and enjoy special dishes like tteokguk (rice cake soup), jeon (pancakes), and mandu (dumplings). The holiday includes customs like paying respect to ancestors and children receiving gifts from elders.

Chuseok (Harvest Moon Festival): Celebrated on the 15th day of the 8th lunar month, Chuseok is a time to thank ancestors for a bountiful harvest. Families come together to prepare and share special foods such as songpyeon (rice cakes), japchae (stir-fried glass noodles), and seasonal fruits like persimmons and chestnuts. Chuseok is characterized by ancestral rituals and paying homage to deceased relatives.
